Device Driver is a software & this is a type of system software. Driver are need for all the hardware installed in the computer because these drivers help to connect the hardware to the operating system, Without drivers the operating system will not give any commands. All hardware devices that are unknown to the operating system or Components that the operating system does not understand, drivers are need for them. Some device drivers come with hardware which is available in the CD & Some hardware requires drivers to be downloaded from the internet.

    Importance of Device Drivers
  1. If Device Driver is not install or not available in the operating system so the device can not take the instruction by the operating system.
  2. Manufacture company always provide the drivers with device By form of CD and if we have some other device component which driver not available so we can download the driver from the internet.
  3. If we can not install right driver for the device so operating system can't give the proper instruction.
How we can check the device driver list in windows

First Method
  1. Press the Window Key in Keyboard
  2. Search Device Manager and press enter



Second Method

  1. Press the Window Button + R 
  2. A small box search box pop - up on the screen 

  3. Type in the box " devmgmt.msc " and press enter.
  4. Device manager is open.
Third Method
  1. Take the mouse and right click on my pc

  2. Go to manage and click

  3. Find device manager and click.
